Buried in the sand

To say I love you no longer matters

My family wouldn’t approve anyway
For girls and girls shall not lie together
But that doesn’t matter, not today
I smell the ocean fresh air salty water
I remember your past and the other girls put to slaughter
I’ve been waiting for someone like you all my life
Someone to grow old with as my beautiful wife
But now it’s over
My blood on your hands
Because you tore out my heart
And buried it in the sand
Along with the others
The fallen ones past
I thought I could change you.
But I knew it’d never last
But I’ll always be waiting here
On the beach next to my heart
Waiting to be revived
Renewed
Restart
